This allows them to function as both clear glasses and sunglasses, depending on the ambient light conditions. The lenses use Transitions Light Intelligent Lenses technology to seamlessly switch from a clear state in low-light or indoor conditions to a darker, amethyst tint when exposed to UV light outdoors.
